August ends up with many more passengers in Menorca
Menorca says goodbye to the summer with a record number of passengers at the Airport. With 723,000 passengers registered by AENA, the Menorca aerodrome not only improves its records from last year; it exceeds those before the pandemic.
Thus, August has placed Menorca Airport in the 11th position of airports with the most travellers in Spain. However, other destinations in the Balearic Islands, such as Mallorca or Ibiza, accumulated even more passengers; however, its growth was lower.
This confirms the excellent trend of the tourist season and the recovery of national and international tourism.
5,825 flights to Menorca in August
Of this figure, 82 were private flights. They increase year after year, with the arrival of tourism with greater purchasing power.
