Yes, buses still serve several Menorca beaches in October 2026. The calendar depends on the destination, though: some routes have published services through the end of the month, while Son Saura and Cala Turqueta run until 15 October. The timetables checked for Macarella, Es Grau and Favàritx end on 30 September.

Son Saura and Turqueta: options for the first half of October
For Son Saura on Ciutadella’s southern coast and Cala Turqueta, pay attention to the 15 October end date and the lack of Sunday services stated by Torres.
In the timetables checked, the final return departure from Son Saura is 18:45, and from Cala Turqueta it is 19:45. These times apply to the published period and operating days; check them again before travelling and look for any special public-holiday notices.
Allow enough time to walk back to the stop. Taking the bus can spare you the search for a space in the southern coves’ car parks, but the journey home still has a departure time.
Son Bou and Cala Galdana: select the October timetable
On the official L32 page for Son Bou, TMSA separates the current timetable ending in September from the planned October service. Look for the period 01-10-2026 to 31-10-2026 when you open the page.
Cala Galdana has planned October timetables from Maó, Ciutadella and Ferreries. Choose the route matching your starting point: these options are not interchangeable, and connections between buses should not be assumed to fit together.
For Sant Tomàs and Punta Prima, also select the October timetable for the route listed above. The current published periods for Cala en Porter and Binibèquer already extend to 31 October.
Macarella, Es Grau and Favàritx: September times do not extend automatically
The published L69 Ciutadella–Macarella timetable checked for this article ends on 30 September 2026. We did not find an October timetable on that page, so we do not list this connection as available next month.
The calendars published by Autos Fornells for L23 Maó–Es Grau and L43 Maó–Favàritx also end on 30 September. Check for any announced extension before arranging a visit that depends on these services.
The end of a bus timetable does not, by itself, establish that private cars are allowed into the destination. Road access conditions need to be checked separately.
Before leaving, work out the journey home
- Open the timetable for your date. When planning in September, TMSA may still list October under planned services, or «Previstos».
- Select the right type of day. Do not assume a Sunday or public holiday has the same departures as a Tuesday.
- Find the return stop. A route serving a resort does not mean every stop is beside the sand.
- Allow for connections. Leave time between buses and check the final leg back to your accommodation.
- Read service notices on the day. The linked operator pages are the reference for last-minute changes.
October still offers opportunities to explore Menorca by bus. Choosing an outward and return connection first leaves the rest of your beach day for walking, enjoying the cove and making your way home without a rush.
