How to go to Cala Mitjana

Nowadays, there are two ways to get to Cala Mitjana : on foot from the parking on the Cala Galdana road or by boat.

Go to Cala Mitjana by car (+15' walk)

To get to Cala Mitjana parking , you must turn off onto the ME-1 towards Cala Galdana at Ferreries. Just before reaching the first roundabout, you will find the beach parking. It is very well marked.

From the parking, you will keep walking for around 12-15 minutes to the beach. The path to Cala Mitjana is lovely and has pavement , something perfect in case you go with a person with reduced mobility.

A spectacular lush forest surrounds this path. Do not hesitate to take a picture with your camera of the pure nature of Menorca!

There is an alternative route!

You can park in Cala Galdana and take a stretch of Camí de Cavalls to the beach. However, the pathway is a bit longer, around 25 minutes on foot.

It is also well-marked, and the section begins at a non-exit small roundabout.

Cala Mitjana by Boat

The best way to get a good view of Cala Mitjana is by boat. The journey will take you along the coast, past some stunning scenery that's hard (if not impossible)to see from land!

Undoubtedly, going to Cala Mitjana by boat is a unique experience. It is a short trip from Cala Galdana, where you will sail through Menorca's virgin landscapes and cliffs.
